SIT Happens
Practical guidance for understanding
and responding to pain signals
and responding to pain signals
Most of us were taught the art of exercise.
Very few of us learned how to understand what our bodies may be communicating when something begins to hurt.
SIT Happens is designed to help fill that gap.
Upcoming Workshops
Wednesday evening • September 16
Saturday morning • September 19
Workshop length: approximately 45–60 minutes.
What we’ll explore together:
Why pain may be information rather than simply a problem to silence.
How everyday habits and movement patterns influence how your body feels.
Simple ways to understand what your discomfort may be telling you.
How to look beyond where it hurts and explore possible sources of pain.
Practical movements and self-help tools you can use on your own.
How to decide what you can safely explore on your own and recognize when it may be time to seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Practical information you can use...

This workshop draws from almost 50 years of observing how people move, adapt, compensate, and respond to thoughtful hands-on work and movement.
The intention is not to give you a long list of exercises to memorize.
It is to give you useful ideas, a few practical tools, and a better way to think about your body that can continue serving you for the rest of your life.
No athletic ability required.
Curiosity helps.
Choose the workshop that works best for you.
