SIT Happens is for everybody. You do not need to be athletic, injured, or in pain to benefit from learning how to recognize what your body may be communicating and how to respond sooner.

Future Workshops

SIT Happens workshops will return with new dates.

In the meantime, I will be sharing short videos and practical ideas to help you better understand everyday aches and pains, recognize what your body may be communicating, and make thoughtful choices before a small problem becomes a bigger one.

Dates and details to be announced.

For employees and employers: your team receives updates on equipment, procedures, products, and services. But what about the piece of equipment they use every day... their own body?

SIT Happens can be a practical addition to your workplace wellness program.

When someone on your team begins experiencing pain, stiffness, or a movement problem, a little knowledge and a few simple First Aid for Pain tools can help them respond sooner, before a small problem becomes a bigger one. Everybody wins.

What to Expect
Workshop length: approximately 45–60 minutes.

What we’ll explore together

Why pain may be information rather than simply a problem to silence.
How everyday habits and movement patterns influence how your body feels.
Simple ways to understand what your discomfort may be telling you.
How to look beyond where it hurts and explore possible sources of pain.
Practical movements and self-help tools you can use on your own.
How to decide what you can safely explore on your own and recognize when it may be time to seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Practical information you can use...

♾️ Forever ♾️

This workshop draws from almost 50 years of observing how people move, adapt, compensate, and respond to thoughtful hands-on work and movement.

The intention is not to give you a long list of exercises to memorize. It is to give you useful ideas, a few practical tools, and a better way to think about your body that can continue serving you for the rest of your life.

No athletic ability required.
Curiosity helps.

Stay Curious. More Is Coming.

Future dates will be posted here when they are available. Until then, explore the resources and upcoming short videos, or contact me if this approach has struck a chord and you would like to talk.
